Roll coating process of Fluorocarbon Resin

In general, the thickness of three coating and three baking coating is 40 μ m ±4 μ m, and the thickness of second coating and second baking coating is ≥ 25 μ m ±4 μ m. Limited by the material characteristics of the mechanical roll bending equipment and the substrate itself, the thickness of the roll coating material is limited to a certain extent, and the aluminum coil is generally within 2.5mm. The other is aluminum profiles with spraying process.

Selection of Fluorocarbon spraying Coatings

Fluorocarbon sprayed aluminum veneer: fluorocarbon sprayed aluminum veneer is the most common application, usually after the plate forming for surface spraying treatment. The following aspects should be considered in the selection of fluorocarbon sprayed coatings:

Paint, coating thickness, texture of other requirements, such as the need to increase the effect of metal powder. The selection of fluorocarbon paint also means color, different color paint system, different process, the choice of spray gun is also different, the painting process control is also different. The coating process control varies according to different coating suppliers. However, the thickness of the coating is related to its weather resistance. The thicker the coating is, the better the weather resistance will be. According to a large number of engineering experience and exposure tests, the second coating system can be used for curtain wall components under general climatic conditions, and the coating thickness should be more than 25 μ m. For the special climatic environment, such as the marine climate with high salt fog or high pollution areas, the three-coating system with added varnish can be used because of the relatively high content of fluorocarbon resin in the varnish. it can further improve the weather resistance, wear resistance and pollution resistance of the whole coating. Metal glitter paint is widely used because of its bright luster. If the paint uses large particles of metal pigments, because the metal particles are easily oxidized and UV isolation is not complete, it is also necessary to increase the finish varnish. In addition, when you need to add an isolation coating on top of the primer or try to improve the weather resistance of the primer, you can also use a three-coating or four-coating system with a coating thickness greater than 40 μ m. If you want to achieve a similar metal flash effect, you can also use the second coating of weather-resistant phosphomica pigment coating, in order to reduce material costs and processing costs.

Fluorocarbon sprayed aluminum profile: the thickness of fluorocarbon spraying coating is required to be ≥ 40 μ m. In other words, it needs to be treated with three smears, which is a bit too absolute. The use of aluminum profiles in curtain walls is mostly used indoors, and its decoration performance requirements are more than the requirements of weather resistance. If the coating with metal flash effect is not used, the second coating of the indoor part can meet the requirements, but the outdoor part should use the second coating or the third coating according to the need.

Selection of Fluorocarbon Roller coating

The application of fluorocarbon roller coating, according to its production process, is mainly used for the outer layer of aluminum coil of composite aluminum plate for exterior wall and the original board of aluminum veneer for aluminum curtain wall. At present, in the relevant domestic specifications, there are only coating requirements for composite aluminum plates for exterior walls, and the coating thickness is only ≥ 25 μ m. At present, there is no specification for roll-coated aluminum veneer in China, but as a product for exterior wall, its requirements can be selected with reference to spray coating.
